Information about our sessions.

Where do the events take place and how can I book them?

Our mindful sessions take place online. You can register via our website www.zenspotting.com register for the sessions until the start of the event. After successful registration you will receive 3 mails: your order confirmation, your ticket, your link to the live stream. In addition, you will receive another email 30 minutes before the start of the session with the link to the live stream. Please also check the spam folder.

Which streaming service is used for the transmission?

We use ZOOM for the transmission. If necessary, download the app free of charge for your device (smartphone, tablet or notebook) or use the browser.

I didn't receive a link to the live stream?

The link to the live stream can be found both in the ticket under “Join this Meeting” and in the separate mail with the link to the live stream. If you have not received a link, please send us an email to
info@zenspotting.com

I am prompted to enter a Meeting ID and Meeting Password. Where can I find them?

The Meeting ID and the Meeting Password can be found in the ticket.

I bought a Mindful Month. How can I participate in the sessions?

In order to participate in a session with your Mindful Month, you have to log into the sessions individually and “pay” with the code that was sent to you by e-mail after purchasing the Mindful Month. The field “Apply coupon code” at the end of the order process should fill in automatically after the first entry via your user account. Then you will receive your order confirmation, your ticket and your link to the live stream by e-mail for the respective session.

I bought a Mindful Month but didn't receive an email with my coupon code?

What do I have to consider during the login process?

At the beginning of each session, you will be asked to enter your e-mail address and name in the login process at ZOOM. Please note that the name you enter at the beginning of each session in the login process at ZOOM is visible to all participants. If you don’t want that, use your initials or a pseudonym. The indication of your e-mail address is used exclusively for registration with ZOOM and is not visible to the other participants.

You can then join the ZOOM meeting via audio and video. Please confirm this, otherwise you will not be able to hear or communicate with the coach.

How do I prevent the other participants from seeing my name?

Please note that the name you enter at the beginning of each session in the login process at ZOOM is visible to all participants. If you don’t want that, use your initials or a pseudonym.

Which setup should I choose?

Choose a quiet environment where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the session. Place your streaming device so that you can see the coach well and that the coach can see you well, if you wish and you want to get individual tips on how to do the exercise.

Can I be seen or heard during the session?

The camera and microphone functions are deactivated in ZOOM by default after your login. You are free to turn on your camera and/or microphone (camera and microphone icons at the bottom left).

Feel welcome to turn on your camera. This gives the coach the opportunity to respond to you individually and you can use the switched on camera as a “mirror” to balance your postures more precisely. But also feel free to turn off your camera if you want to stay with yourself.

Can I be heard during the session and how can I communicate with the coach?

At the beginning of the session, the coach will mute the microphones of all participants so that only he can be heard. If you have a question during the session, you are welcome to ask it to the coach via the chat function. After the session, the coach will switch on the microphones of all participants again and give the opportunity for exchange and questions.

How do I confidentially inform the coach that I have limited health and that I may need alternative instructions?

If you have limited health and would like to inform the Coach, you have the option to write to the Coach personally via the chat function in Zoom at the beginning or during the session by selecting “to ZENSPOTTING” (not “to All”!).

Do I need headphones?

For meditations, especially sound meditations, we recommend that you use headphones. Otherwise, the speaker quality of your streaming device should be sufficient.

When can I log in to the session?

The coach welcomes you in the online meeting about 5 to 10 minutes before the start of the session. You are welcome to use the time to prepare any materials you may need.

What materials do I need to participate in the sessions?

Depending on the method or style, we recommend the following materials:

  • Ashtanga-/Vinyasa Yoga: non-slip mat, blanket, 2 blocks (alternatively: 2 hardcover books), strap (alternatively: belt)
  • Yin Yoga: soft mat, 2 blocks, blanket, 2 bolsters; alternatively: large towel, 2 hardcover books, 2 firmer pillows
  • Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra: mat, blanket, warm clothes
  • Meditation: chair or meditation cushion
  • Journaling: Pen and paper
  • Qigong, Taekwondo, Tai Chi: non-slip mat, small soft pillow
  • HIIT, Bodyweight, Mobility: Towel, saucepan, backpack, water bottle(s), non-slip mat – if available
  • Mobility (only in the Mindful Break): possible in everyday clothes and without mat
How do I get the session playlists? How can I play them?

Some coaches provide a Spotify playlist via the ZOOM group chat for musical accompaniment at the beginning of their session. If you want to listen to them on a device other than your streaming device, feel free to keep it handy. If you’re not already registered with Spotify, you can do so for free in advance.

When should I have eaten for the last time before the sessions started?

We recommend that you have eaten for the last time, regardless of the format and the physical or mental intensity of the session, at least 2 hours before the start of the event.

What do I do if the coach's zoom connection drops unexpectedly?

If the coach’s zoom connection drops unexpectedly, do not leave the meeting. The coach should return within a few moments.

What do I do if my zoom connection drops unexpectedly?

If your zoom connection drops unexpectedly, please rejoin the meeting using the appropriate link.

The recording signal flashes. Will I be filmed?

For internal reasons, we reserve the right to record some sessions. Only the coach is filmed during the session, not the participants.
