Hello, namaste! Yoga has been part of my life for a couple of year now, it all began in 2011, at that time what drove me to incorporate yoga inmy life was the search for body expression in a light and gentle way, in my journey I found a beautiful philosophy that embraceskindness to the body and mind, discipline, mental power, the power of relaxation and surrender, and a freedom I’ve learned through meditation. The journey continues, every day I practiceyoga and I learn a little more about myself and the world around me. Yoga is such a powerful ally to me, and it brings me much joy to share it. The practice I teach initiates with exercises to flourish awareness, self-care, and self-love, with this intention we create a save environment to move through asanas (yoga postures) and to allow the body to fully express itself. Following we dive in anasana flow guided by the breath, each inhale and exhale are as an anchor reminding us to stay present and aware. We finalizethe class with deep relaxation in shavasana (corpus pose), in this moment the teaching is on how to surrender, letting the entire body soften and relax, letting the thinking mind soften, letting go of doing and simply being, this state of deep relaxation connects us to our creativity, insights, inspirations and much more. Classes I teach are Yoga Flow and Restorative Yoga.
Translation of the sacrist word Namaste: “I honor the spark of divine light that is inside of you, because it is also inside of me”
