The philosophy of yoga serves as a moral compass that shapes my life. I strive to integrate its values into my daily life – both on and off the mat. I have a deep interest in the history and philosophy of yoga, as well as in exploring questions about the decolonization of the practice. I see the asana practice as an opportunity to better understand one’s energy levels, body, mental state, and the connection between them. For me, it’s a powerful tool for personal growth and for fostering meaningful relationships – with oneself, others, and the world around us. I also view the asana practice as an active way to cultivate Aparigraha – the principle of non-attachment. In my classes, I invite you to explore your boundaries and challenge yourself. At the same time, you’ll learn how to calm your nervous system even in challenging poses, allowing you to fully arrive in the present moment.
